As with every discipline, the sciences come prepackaged with their own unique sets of ethical questions that evolve over time as new developments and discoveries emerge — most especially those dealing directly with living organisms. Professionals and students alike all bring their own experiences, beliefs and personalities into analyses of the topics at hand, providing plenty of room for intellectual discourse, compromise and solutions. The following blogs, listed in no particular order, offer readers a wide variety of perspectives that pertain either to science itself, ethics in general or governing and managing subjects such as politics, law and business. Anyone who drops by should not consider every statement made the absolute truth. They should carefully weigh each argument on each issue and forge an individual, informed opinion.
